From Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, the Messer Type-M01 piloted by Gawman Nobile joins the HG 1/144 lineup as a newly sculpted release, faithfully recreating the heavy proportions and imposing silhouette of Mafty’s mass-production mobile suit.

The entire unit is reproduced with new molding, capturing the distinctive armor layout, broad torso, reinforced limbs, and powerful military styling of the Messer Type-M01. The kit also includes a dedicated left shoulder part for Gawman’s personal machine, allowing builders to accurately recreate his unit-specific appearance.

The front and rear skirt armor are engineered with a stress-free movable structure that maintains articulation while reducing the risk of parts coming loose during posing. This design allows the bulky lower body to move more naturally and supports wide stances, kneeling positions, and dynamic ground-combat poses without compromising the heavy armored silhouette.

The elbow and knee joints are designed for smooth movement, giving the Messer improved poseability despite its large frame. Combined with the articulated shoulders, hips, and ankles, the kit can recreate powerful firing stances, forward lunges, defensive positions, and close-combat action scenes.

A complete combat loadout is included. The Long Beam Rifle provides the unit with strong ranged firepower, while two Beam Sabers support close-quarters engagements. The included Spike Shoulder Armor reinforces the Messer’s aggressive appearance, and the compact shield can be mounted for defensive or tactical display configurations.

Color separation is achieved through carefully divided parts, allowing the model’s distinctive military color scheme to be reproduced with minimal painting. Stickers are included for smaller details and markings, helping complete the screen-inspired appearance.

With its all-new sculpt, improved skirt armor engineering, smooth joint movement, and Gawman-specific shoulder part, the HG Messer Type-M01 offers a strong combination of size, articulation, and battlefield presence.
